Stroyproekt to speak about use of geosynthetics in flexible pavement on 24 May conference

Nikolay Belyaev, head of R&D support department at the Institute Stroyproekt (the Engineering group main company), will make a presentation about prospects of the use of geosynthetic materials in flexible pavement with asphalt surface for road construction in hot climate. Presentation will be made in the framework of the International conference “Use of geosynthetics in road construction” on 24 May in Moscow.
Application of geosynthetics in road construction design will be discussed at the special session. The participants of the session will focus on the use of geosynthetic materials in projects: historical experience, methodology for selection of geosynthetic materials for various road construction projects (based on local climatic conditions and road category) and economic evaluation of geosynthetics performance at various road construction sites.
Foreign and Russia’s representatives of road construction companies, engineers, construction projects owners, producers of geosynthetic materials and government officials are invited to take part in the conference.
