PMB use in Makhachkala Airport reconstruction to be discussed at 16 Mar conference

The results of PMB use in airfield pavement renovation will be presented by Musi Aliev, Deputy head of quality control department at Dagdorcontrol (Dagestan State company specialized in carrying out renovation of road coats and airfield pavements). The presentation will be made in the framework of the 6th international conference “Russia’s polymer modified bitumen in road construction” in Moscow, on 15-16 March.
Dagdorcontrol in 2014 carried out the reconstruction of the airfield pavement at Uytash Makhachkala Airport using polymer-bitumen binders’ technology. The issues of PMB use in airfield renovation will be discussed at the special session along with following topics: modern materials for construction and reconstruction of airfields, PMB quality control, prospects of the industry regulations creation in regards to PMB use at airfields and customers’ requirements to PMB performance.
