Problems in testing of geosynthetic materials to be discussed at 24 May conf

Irina Lonkevich, Director at OAO NPP «VNIIGIS» testing laboratory, will highlight problems in testing of geosynthetic materials at the international “Use of geosynthetics in road construction” which will take place in Moscow at the Hilton Leningradskaya Hotel on 24th May.
Questions of geosynthetics quality control methods and testing will be discussed by the representatives of road research centre of Siberian state automobile and highway Academy (SibADI), ABZ-Dorstroy, Research and development institute of transport construction complex, State road construction company «Kalugadorzakazchik», Administration of Civil Airports (Airfields). The experts will be focused on interaction between customers and contractors in estimation of geosynthetic materials test results, differences in systems for quality control of geosynthetics utilized by Russian foreign producers depending on equipment and production technologies, prospects for establishing a system for quality control of geosynthetics utilized by Russian road services and on many other topics.
OAO NPP «VNIIGIS» has a well-developed laboratory facility, perfectly equipped metrology center, pilot production plant, safe testing station with modern facilities and special divisions to perform geophysical operations.
