Conference: Sustainable Mining Waste Management

The first conference “Sustainable Mining Waste Management” was held in 2013. Since then many changes have taken place in Russia’s mining waste regulations. Today leading players of the mining waste management industry are willing to discuss how to boost profitability and efficiency of waste processing as well as to discuss innovative technologies in mining waste treatment. They are also interested in getting profound feedback from the industry’s regulators.
We have invited government officials from the Federal Environmental, Engineering & Nuclear Supervision Agency, Federal Service for Supervision of Natural Resource Usage, Rosgeo, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment of the Russian Federation. Among representatives of Russia’s mining companies who confirmed their participation are: Nornikel, EVRAZ, NLMK, Polus Zoloto, SUEK, MECHEL to discuss the situation on Russia’s mining waste management market.
Among key topics of the conference:
• Improvement of legal regulation of production and consumption waste management. Particular features and cases of application of the current amendments to the Federal law.
